In the morning a catapult competition was held. Each troop constructed a catapult that had to be assembled using only lashings and no fasteners. Each group took turns catapulting tennis balls across the front lawn at the lodge.

Boy Scout Troop 222 from Damariscotta launched its tennis ball the farthest, followed by Troop 634 of Harpswell in second place and Troop 246 of St. George in third place.

In the afternoon, several events, including first aid, fire building, tomahawk throwing, two-person cross cut sawing, ice rescues, wildlife identification and sled races, were held.
