  • Day-Of-Event Registration: $5
  • Only Scouts and Scouters who want a Patch need to register.
  • Parents, Friends, Siblings, and other Family members may attend for free.
  • Pre-Registration Ends: March 9
  • You can not save money by not getting a patch, or by not registering some of your leaders. Registration money goes to cover event costs, not just the patch. If you don't register, you make it difficult for us to operate a quality event.

    Pinewood Derby
    Complete Car Specifications: 
    • Maximum Outer Dimensions - 7" L x 2 ¾" W x 6" H
    • Width between inside of wheels - 1 ¾" or more
    • Weight - 5.00 ounces or less
    • Bottom Clearance - 3/8" or more between car and track
    • No wet paint on cars at race time and no paint on wheels
    • No springs or magnets
    • No one piece axles
    • No hubcaps
    • No Teflon type tape or silicon spray
    • Must be free wheeling with no starting devices
    • At least 3 wheels must touch the track at all times
    • Wheelbase of standard block must not be modified
    • Must use wheels and axles provided with official pinewood derby car kit.
    • Wheels and axles can be polished (burs may be removed).
    • Wheel base must NOT be modified.
    • Wheel size may not be altered in any way, no shaping, no tapering, no reduction of width or radius, et. al.
    • Dry Lubricant Only may be used up to registration time. Nothing may be added after that.
    • Absolutely no lubricant may be brought to the race location building.
