STAR TO EAGLE CONFERENCE: May 9.

Downeast District will host a Star to Eagle Conference on May 9, 2009 at the
Wiscasset Scout Hall, Lincoln Street, Wiscasset. Registration and a meet &
greet is at 9:30 a.m., followed by presentations, displays and Q&A sessions
for Star and Life Scouts and their parents. We will cover Project
descriptions, Paperwork, Organizing and Planning Your Time, Leadership and
the Service Project, Planning a Court of Honor.

Plan on about 1½ hours. Refreshments will be provided. Experienced District
Scouters and Eagle Scouts will be on hand to answer your questions!

CUB SPRING EVENT: May 16.

Spring event!  (The district will mail a flyer to each Cub Pack in Downeast District)

Fraser Farm, Brunswick
Maine.

Bring your Cub Scouts (and even their siblings) for some space challenges,
games, crafts and a space campfire.  We are looking forward to a great
couple of hours of fun!

BOY SCOUT SPRING CAMPOREE: May 16 and 17.

YES, You read that correctly.
This is a one night Camporee.  Every Troop (and hopefully our Crews) should
have received a brochure on the Camporee.  If you have questions, please

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES: April 24-25, Cub Leaders!

Webelos Leader Outdoor Training (WLOT) and Basic Adult Leader Outdoor
