1. LIFE TO EAGLE WORKSHOP. Please remind your Life and Star Scouts that Part I of the Life to Eagle Workshop will be held Thursday evening this week – at 6:30 p.m. at the Quaker Midcoast Meeting House at 77 Belvedere Road in Damariscotta. Part II is Saturday, Feb 6 at the same location. Scouts must pre-register with Susan Kennedy, 798-9358 or scouter@suscom-maine.net. Email reminders with full details have been sent to all troops.  Great, central location and lots of fun‼‼

 

2. SCOUT SABBATH. Saturday, February 13.  If anyone has details to share, the Beacon will be happy to send them to the district.

 

3. SCOUT SUNDAY – DETAILS FROM AROUND THE DISTRICT.

 

Pack 215 has been working on the God and Me Program with Reverend Jackie Brown of the Thomaston Federated Church. Upon completion of the program, Scouts and their adult mentors will receive their God and Me awards during the church service on Scout Sunday. The Scouts will also participate in the church service by serving as greeters and handing out the programs, and leading the congregation in song and Scripture reading. After the service, Scouts will attend a fellowship hour with light refreshments.

St. Charles Catholic Church, Brunswick will celebrate Scout Sunday on March 14 – for ALL Scouts, Girls and Boys.  Details to follow.

 

 

4. NEWS FROM PACK 238 AND TROOP 222.

On March 6th at 5:00 p.m. Southport Island's Pack 238 and Damariscotta's Troop 222 will host a Fish Chowder and Chili supper at the Southport Town Hall. Three-time, Mt.
