1. FRIENDS OF SCOUTING

Friends of Scoutimg

Downeast District had a very successful family Friends of Scouting campaign in 2009 thanks to all the support from the units and their Scouting families!  We want to repeat this success in 2010.  If you have a date, time and location for an FOS presentation, please contact Steve Saucier at ssaucier@bsamail.org.  Blue & Gold Banquets and Court of Honors are great times to have presentations.

2. MEMBERSHIP!

Downeast District is 25 Scouts away from its membership goal.  If you are holding applications or have unregistered Scouts identified from your unit inventory, please work to get those applications in to the Pine Tree Council office.  Thank you to all the Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops who have stepped up and recruited new Scouts in the last few weeks.
