*Additions to Scouting for Food! (Next Beacon launches on Saturday,
December 3.*

Southport Island's Troop and Pack 238 participated in Scouting for Food.
They collected 310 items for the Boothbay Region Food Pantry at the
Congregational Church in Boothbay Harbor. (Thank you Sarah Sherman,
Scoutmaster for the information!)****

Pack and Troop 254 collected 1,120 lbs of food. With 12 scouts. They did a
great job. The food was split between 2 food pantries and helped make 30
food baskets.(Thank you Mark Abruzese!)****
