Proper training will help you become confident in your leadership role and knowledgable about the aims, purposes, and methods of the programs of the Boy Scouts of America.

Online Trainings

Youth Protection

Online Youth Protection Training is good for 1 year, and must be renewed annually

 

Fast Start

Fast Start training is the first step for any new volunteer and is to be delivered immediately after a new leader registers and before he or she meets with any youth member.

 

Aquatics

 

Cub Scout Leader E-Learning

Online basic training for new leaders. This program allows you to start and stop at any time, and still maintain your progress. A simple chart helps you keep track of which elements you've completed, have started, or have not yet started. Available for the following positions:

  • Tiger Cub Den Leader
  • Cub Scout Den Leader
  • Webelos Den Leader
  • Cubmaster

Trainings at Rountable

Held at the Monthly Roundtables

The Downeast District does not offer the training below at Roundtable.  We do offer the training frequently through out the year.
